Since 1973, when abortion was legalized, there have been over 45 million abortions performed in the United States. The statistics are staggering.

But statistics are nothing next to experience. For me, the numbers are personal... because I'm one of those women.

In 1980, at the age of 18, I became pregnant and chose abortion. Fourteen years later, I became a Christian and suddenly, in the light of a Holy God, the ugliest thing I'd ever done became even uglier.

The shame I felt as a committed Christian and how God drew my darkest secret into the light is the story I offer to churches, pregnancy resource centers and other organizations who delight in the lovingkindness of our Heavenly Father.

It is my hope that through sharing my testimony and original music, I will not only share the great news that our Redeemer lives -- but comfort those who've experienced the secret, silent sorrow of abortion.
